The Friends of Stonefield and Nelson Dewey State Park, Inc. invite you to become a member of one of the most rewarding organizations on the beautiful Mississippi River in Cassville, WI. Our Friends Group was founded in August of 2005 with the purpose of supporting, assisting and promoting the interpretive, historical, and environmental services of Stonefield Village and Nelson Dewey State Park. As members, we pride ourselves on dedicated volunteerism and charitable efforts—which help to enhance the charm and elegance of our historic landmarks. The Friends Group continually offers support to the many events that take place at the sites. From summertime delights such as Horse Drawn Days and Railroad Days to the spectacular fall experience of a “Safe & Spooky Halloween,“ which brings over 1,000 people, excitement and energy resounds in the joy and laughter of children of all ages. We value Stonefield Historic Site and Nelson Dewey State Park as special historic treasures that define and shape the character and charm of our fun-loving river community of Cassville. Share in the rewards of volunteerism by becoming a member!
