Wonderful
Video of Eagles at Cassville Eagle Days |
| Mr. Paul Schmidt from Wisconsin
Eye Public Affairs Network was in Cassville on January 27th
for Bald Eagle Days and filmed the Eagles in the area.
Al Muller, from Cassville, provides an interesting narration

EAGLE REPORT |
| Clyde Male, from the Fish and
Wildlife Service, reported the midwinter Eagle count was
done on January 9, 2008. A total of 235 eagles were counted
in the McGregor District from Dubuque, IA to Genoa, WI.
Of these, 187 were adult and 48 were immature birds. Ninety
five eagles were seen in the Cassville Village boundary.
They are readily seen feeding on gizzard shad on the open
waters by the power plants. Eighteen trumpeter swans
were also counted that day in the Cassville area. |
